Luke Godwin 

General Manager /Owner
Luke started working for his dad, Ed Godwin, when he was 10 years old washing cars at Godwin Motors. In 2001 Luke began full-time at Godwin Motors, and in 2015 became part-owner. In 2012, he opened Godwin Service. Along with day to day management, he handles all the car buying for the dealership. He is past-president and past chairman of Carolina’s Independent Automobile Dealership Association where the dealership was named Quality Dealer of the Year in 2015. Luke has also served on the 
Services and Foundation Board for the National Independent Automobile Dealership Association. He is a current member of the Governor’s Council on Consumer Credit since 2016. Luke is a magnum cum laude graduate of the University of South Carolina. Luke, his wife Alexa, and their daughter Hadley attend First Presbyterian Church.

Ed Godwin

Owner
Ed opened Godwin Motors on West Beltline in 1985. He started the dealership with only two employees and worked tirelessly those first few years building a business in the Midlands community that is now in its 32nd year. Ed’s number one goal has never changed – to sell quality cars and provide great customer service. Ed does not work in the day to day operations anymore, but helps the dealership with body and paint repair. Ed and his wife Marcia have been married for more than 33 years. They have 2 daughters, Ashley and Allison, and five granddaughters. They now enjoy spending time cruising around the Caribbean and shrimping in Beaufort.

Isaac Burt

Service Manager/ Assistant General Manager
Isaac Burt joined the team at Godwin Motors in May 2017. He previously graduated from Greensboro College with a degree in political science and religion. Isaac began his role at Godwin Motors on the sales team. In February of 2019, he took on the position of Service Manager/ Assistant General Manager in 2021. He married his wife Kelly in October of 2018 and they have a son and daughter.

Alexa Godwin

Marketing Manger
Alexa graduated from the Darla Moore School of Business at the University of South Carolina. She previously was co-owner of My Gym Northeast Columbia from 2008-2016 and was an account manager at RIGGS Advertising from 2005-2008. After twelve years of attending CIADA and NIADA trainings and conferences with Luke, when My Gym sold, Alexa brought her business management and marketing skills to Godwin Motors and works part-time Monday-Friday.

Natasha Ruise

HR/Comptroller
Natasha joined the Godwin Motors team in November 2018. She has worked in Accounting and HR for over 10 years and currently works as HR Manager and Comptroller for Godwin Motors.

Cody Stulley

Sales Manager
Cody started in the car business in 2011 and has not looked back since. He grew up in Irmo, SC, but moved to Indiana for high school, then Kentucky for college. Cody just recently moved back to Columbia in August of 2022 and started working at Godwin Motors in March of 2023. He loves cars and his two dogs; a chocolate lab – Harley and a boxer/pit mix – Buddy. Cody’s expertise with vehicles along with his easy going manner has already been a hit with new and previous Godwin Motors customers.

Avia Reed

Accounts Manager
Avia Reed joined the Godwin Motors staff in April 2017 as an Accounts Manager. She was previously an Implementation Consultant with SRC An Aetna Company for over 12 years. She enjoys cooking, traveling, cuddling up on the sofa watching DIY Network or watching movies with the family.

Tammeka Boyd

Accounts/Insurance Specialist
Tammeka has been with Godwin Motors since May of 2020. Tammeka assists with accounts, handles all insurance needs, total losses and CPI Insurance. Tammeka always has a huge smile on her face and she is ready to assist customers when they walk in the door!

Todd Cooper

Service Advisor
Todd joined Godwin Motors in February of 2022 in the sales department. He moved to the service department in June of 2023 to handle all internal inventory service and detail needs. He is currently Godwin Auto Repair's service advisor. His expertise in vehicle maintenance and customer relations is a benefit to our service customers.
